Overview The requirements thrown on us by health & safety legislation are enormous; this course is designed to cut through the maze of red tape and regulations to give you practical information and advice. All businesses have a need for general health & safety practices and procedures etc. Within the healthcare sector there is considerably more due to the sector requirements themselves. The training from this course can be aimed at managers as well as carers. The risk assessment is the cornerstone for UK health & safety legislation. This course spends time looking at this facet of health & safety and develops it into a

standalone training course for you, which you can deliver alongside the general health & safety course. Course Content This course covers legislation, manual handling, fire, first aid, COSHH, Accident Reporting, Driving and Risk Assessments to name just a few. This can be delivered direct to the carer via 5 two/3-4 hour modules – risk assessment training and general healthcare health & safety. These courses are certificated separately for your trainees.
